Organizational Development

I consult and support teams, executives, companies and organizations in development, change and preservation processes.

What does that mean? I see companies as living, dynamic systems in which changes and impulses from both outside and inside certainly have an impact on the overall structure. But they are not automatically controllable and cannot move in the desired direction. Internal challenges such as a lack of staff, a lack of certain skills, or an increase in conflicts within the workforce cannot be eliminated with a master plan. External challenges such as market changes, changes in legislation, or changing customer and client wishes cannot be resolved even more. I will support you in determining the connections between these external and internal changes on the one hand, and the structures and cultural characteristics of your organization on the other, and in identifying starting points for change impulses.

The systems-theoretical view of a company's challenges allows me to take a methodical approach without requiring any specific industry knowledge.

My experience in the public sector in the areas of foreign and security policy and development cooperation has shaped me, from the non-governmental organization (NGO) level through federal ministries and the Bundestag to regional and international organizations. I have also been able to gain experience in public corporate-like institutions. In my consulting practice, I have gained experience in the automotive industry, the software industry, and with social enterprises (child and youth welfare, people with disabilities).

All of these organizations I have consulted, had in common is that they have found themselves in challenging or even dysfunctional situations searching for different new perspectives and tools to change it. I have supported them in this process to ensure their continued development and thus their survival.

Offer for Executives & Leadership Teams

My offer to people in leadership positions – whether alone or as part of a management team – the opportunity to take a shared look at the challenges of leadership and collaboration, both at their own level and with a view to the entire organization.

What shall remain? What should change? And how?

To meet these needs, I offer executive coaching (1:1 format), impulse workshops, vision and team workshops, as well as a complete change design.

For larger processes or formats, I enjoy working with colleagues from my network.

Offers for teams

There are different challenges in teams: newly formed, new leaders or new colleagues, new or different tasks, conflicts, the desire for more innovation or a (new) vision, a different energy.

 

I provide tailored support to teams, tailored to their needs, helping them sort through and organize what they need on the path to team flow. This can be a team day, a specific skill training, case and team supervision or a guided process over a specific period of time.

Offers for organizational units

Collaboration between work units stuck and could be improved? Teams shall be merged to greater units? Does the entire organization need to become more future-proof? Do you want to embrace more self-organization and become more agile? I will support you in these change requests, carefully considering your company's cultural practices. Together, we will reflect on how you could tap into the culture in a cross-cultural way.

 

For this purpose, I offer process support for managers and teams. For larger processes or formats, I am happy to collaborate with colleagues from my network.
